Adam’s Peak, also known as Sri Pada, is one of the most sacred mountains in Sri Lanka. It is located in the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka, in the Ratnapura District of Sabaragamuwa Province, and rises to approximately 2,243 metres above sea level. The mountain is famous for the sacred footprint located near its summit and is an important pilgrimage destination for Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, and Christians. The mountain and its surrounding area are also known for their natural beauty, forests, waterfalls, and biodiversity.
